I just purchased a 1949 Ford business coupe, and I honestly don't know this one: do business coupes and two-door sedans share the same size door? Please, someone let me know. Thanks, Theo
You guys rule! Thanks, everyone, so much. I feel like a tool all day driving around in a land of Mitsubishis, but this makes up for it in spades.
Guys, I'm trying to post some pix, but I'm having to resize them. May be a while. I'll be back over where I have it stored on Monday tho, and I'll shoot some real pictures then. (The ones I have suck; they're cellphone pix.) Thanks again for all the help. Business coupes do rule. I've wanted one for almost 15 years.
Is it a real business coupe or does it have a back seat? I only recall seeing one or two real business coupes with the salesman's shelf instead of a rear seat. Either way I love them. 49 is my favorite just for the little details that make it a 49. They have such a nice look that you don't really have to cut one up to look good. I know.... blasphemy! I'll take mine nosed and decked, lowered, with or with out skirts.
Uh, actually, it doesn't have any seats right now--which is why I'm looking for seats--but I believe that originally it did have a back seat, because it does still have rear armrests. The front ones are MIA, but the rears survived.
