Yep! My oldest son, Josh. He was helping throughout. I think he’s already called dibs on the car when I’m gone.

I appreciate that. What an agonizing choice! I initially liked all of the tangelo, sunset, and sunrise shades everyone was coming out with. But then EVERYONE started using them. I try to stay away from trendy colors because it immediately dates the car. Somehow, this looks new, old, and classic all at the same time. This color just checked all the boxes for me. And as soon as I saw it in the sun I knew had had something.

One last post to bring you up to date. After a few shakedown runs, the first order of business was to bring the car back to Bernie’s. He had seen some in-progress pics but hadn’t seen the car in person since we carried it out of his cellar. This was a fun day.

That’s about it for now. I’ll add some pics when the interior is finished.

Again, I appreciate the great feedback. Thank you.

Man, Bernie looks great. :D Now that Bernie's sedan is also freshly rebuilt..and it's the car your body was originally on, you need to get some pics of both cars together. How cool would that be?

Awesome build, and, the Jag gas cap caught my eye because thats exactly what I used on my coupe. Bought both caps off the same car at Pull a Part for 20 bucks...and you are a craftsman...Great hot rod.

Awesome home built Project. Looking forward to seeing it in person Bernie, I don’t know him, but recognize him from Capital Area Rods.
Ya want Luke Perry back ?

I really appreciate that. This was a looong project! I’m still working on getting the interior finished up but now I have all winter. A couple of other little punch-list stuff to take care of too and I’ll be ready for spring.
And, sure... I’d take Perry back! In fact, I’ll even trade you someone for him!
