HMMMMMM, All of this shamless self promotion and ass kissing~! I wouldn't buy one of those if you gave it to me! So................... will 'ya? Huh, HUH????
Brian, how many minutes do each of the videos, on your website, play? Are they blu ray or standard dvd? Thanks Joe
Joe, each movie is roughly an hour long with about forty minutes of bonus features and footage. They are standard DVD's and play world wide.
Damn it why can't the flathead stand alone THEE cool hot rod engine instead of being the antithesis to the SBC. I mean I would take a flathead over a Cad engine but it doesn't seem to carry the connotation that it does when being compared the a Chevy V8. I hate that line drawn in the sand....it's stupid. I love the Flathead, Early Chevy V8's and Hemi's all the same. But I guess I have a little more room for love in my heart haha!!! I'm just babbling now and trying to fight the good fight. I know it's pointless. My '33 has a flathead ready when the time comes. I already have Weiand Cheater Heads, Weiand High Rise 2x2 on layaway ( I know kinda ghetto), and then I'll seek out a talented builder that wants to show me a thing or two on these old engines. They are labor of love and I look forward to having another.
Doing one right now. 59AB with a Merc. Damn, even with my Dad doing it for me, these things are spendy!!! I love flatheads. I get rash from people all the time that they are slow and troublesome. It cracks me up. They just don't get it
Tell your father to remember the specs on that engine Chris so when he builds mine he can kick it up a notch That's going to be all type of incredible.. ....wait isn't that a 350 with flathead valve covers? Fag.
This is going to be awesome to watch! Everytime I have seen this trailer I have had an immediate urge to run out to the garage and take the flathead for a spin
dose the video explain why they cost so much to build? guess that would ruin a movie.. laughs.. look forward yupp. in the late 70s/80s my dad 48 ford got the street rod treatment.. you know nova front clip, drop 302 in her ( no chev in a ford dad is a ford guy, he will put a cad in a ford tho.. shrugs ) anyhow, a running flathead went to the recycle junkyard.. along with the wish bone/ibeam front suspension.. which i could use now for my tbucket project.. i wonder how many flatheads got scraped during this time period? progress can be so destructive. chris.
Just got my copy tonight hand deliver by the film maker himself. All I got to say it was the fastest hour that ever went by in my life. This will tell and show you how much time and devotion go into the building of these engines. People like this just don't build these motors they are in love with them. To see how much can go into one is amazing. I wish it was 10 hours long. Thank god it has an "extras" bonus feature. Great job!
