A '65 Buick is always neat! If u have a GS with the road handling package, like we do, it is already 1' lower ;)

I dig those also as stockers, with the original road wheels. They are just plain beautiful. This said, I love the Riviera, but the 65 Wildcat is even greater I guess. When it's a factory dual quad 4 speed like my black one, it can also sit a 'lil bit higher! ;)

A neat thing to see, would be the Riviera front on the Cat... Ain't this a good Kustom Idea?

Hey Ryan, if you need any parts for yours I just got 3 63's 2 of which are going to be parts cars, be glad to donate parts to ya for all you do for us! All of mine are white with red interior cars, one is a dual 4 car, that is the one I am keeping of course! Jim

  6. I have always loved the Rivieras, and owned an immaculate '67 GS for a period of time. I always loved the '63-'65 style more, but even as beautiful as they are, I think the Bill Mitchell team slipped in one area on the design. The roof.

I still want to take a rough '63-'65 Rivi and graft on a complete '66-'67 Impala hardtop roof. I have always thought that the early Rivieras deserved a flowing roofline that matched the rest of the car.

  7. how did you end up handling the press in ball joints?

  8. My "vote" is for Buick Skylark Wires ... mounted on pinner whites!

I rented a ball joint press from Autozone and just went at it... The factory spot welded the ball joints in from underneath, so I just ground that spot weld off and pressed in the new ones... From all that I've read, you don't need to spot weld the news ones in, so I didn't.

Beautiful. That cleaned up really, really nice from when I saw it mid-road trip at Pimlico.

I really like the hub caps that one of my cars has. I think I am going to run them. I see nothing wrong with that. They are hard to see here but they are a finned cap with a 2 bar spinner and the buick emblem in the center. Jim

A perfect blend of a hot rod and a custom. How does it handle in burn-out situations? I can imagine the weight of the car and the power of the nailhead easily smoking the tires and then slowly pulling away gracefully and disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

Gettin' it done. That thing not only looks slick... it rides and handles just like you'd hope it would.

Supremes and pinner whites would be my choice on a Rivi. The stance looks awesome Ryan.

It's looking great. I have my Riv bagged, but if I had it to do over I would have gone with the springs also. I truly believe they handle the weight of the car better. The Verde green is nice too, my riv started its life that color also. I'm partial to it. Please keep the pics coming, love the photos.

  25. these Rivi's with wires and twin flippers look Soooo nice.... what you have on the car now looks great too Ryan...can you post a close up of your wheels?
