20151029_131705.jpg Hi yeah ran today and drove up to chandler. Car is doing fine. Small event only 38 cars. Lots of fun. The route through Tucson went within a block of my mom's house so we stopped and visited for a bit.

Jim, how did it go at Fontana? I looked on line but couldn't find results.

they haven't published results...I think everyone is super busy with the SEMA thing this week. I made a run but the car was running funny, like it needed a fresh set of plugs, only ran 11.04...turns out #6 was kind of fouled, I guess from a little bit of oil burning? the rest of the plugs were fine. they had been in there 5000 miles since I last looked at them! I put in fresh plugs for the drive home. It's been misfiring every now and then, nothing consistent, and I have no idea why. It made the drive home just fine in spite of that. I won my class since I was the only one in it...oh well. They talked about the future of Drag Weekend at the awards thingy, sounds like they want to move it to spring time, and have one near each corner of the country. Might make it a two strip event, start at one, drive to other, then back to the first for the third day of racing. That makes a lot of sense, since many of the cars were trailered to the event in Tucson, and they had to have a buddy drive their rig to LA to pick up the car there. I just drove the whole way in the car, makes it easier logistically.
