Now that was a real rat trap! Gotta admire their taste though.
    Good Catch!

  3. Looks like a pretty solid '38 Chevy even if you did leave a bunch of rats homeless

Looks like a pretty solid little '38. What are your plans for it (after all the rat crap is removed)?

May, if the headliner isn't out of it, pull it out, there's more up there.
Same for inside the doors and in the quarter panels.

Rat urine is really corrosive... I'm surprised the floors are still there! Maybe all those rags soaked it up?

Congrats on the car though! GREAT starting point!!

I have been thinking of that. So what is DD really? got to be able to drive in traffic need to stop quick, and run at least 65 so as not to get in trouble. As well as stay in a budget. Any Ideas? Then lets photoshop it.

I thought things were big in Texas. This is what lives in cars in Nevada till they get too big. They move in when you park at night, climb into the engine compartment and eat the wire harness for supper. They chew their way inside as it gets colder and eat the seat for breakfast.[IMG] Very nice coupe by the way. Please leave some form of inline in it. A blown 302 GMC would make a classy gasser

Looks like they had easy access to shop rags, or the previous owner stuffed them up under the seat for more cushon, than the rats chewd them up..either way i bet it stinks like rat piss
