Great build Dustan. You're just a touch farther along than me on my A coupe on 32 rails. Would be interested in a set of those valve covers if you know of another set available.

Thank you. We found them at a swapmeet and I think the guy might have had 1 more set at the time but they were close to $300 if I remember correctly. He said the guy that made them made like 7 sets or something. There has to be more out there.

please get rid of that flex fan. I attached a photo of a guy who had one blow up while tuning his car. Doc said inch either way and he would have bled to death and or lost his arm. nice ride by the way

  10. Looks great !!! Colors look better than i'd think they would. I've had a flex fan on my "T" for a while as do a lot of others with no problems. . Keep plugging away.

Can't wait to see the body finished and put on the chassis. I can wait to do all of the bodywork to get to that point... Haha

  23. Nice looking car and fun project. I've been jonesing for a chopped 32 two-winder, with a 50's style engine in it. I'd love to have an enclosed 32 model with lots of room inside - which just isn't the case in any of the coupes (let alone a roadster or Cabriolet). Keep making progress and posting as you go!

  24. Not a lot, fitted drive shaft and changed up original dash a little. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1469477770.468121.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1469477785.918727.jpg View attachment 3281361

  25. Putting some of the new wood in . Planning on welding in the piece above the doors to the rear section and visor [IMG][IMG]

  26. Are you going to stay with just the front motor mount and the tailshaft mount?

  27. Yeah , not a lot of h.p. Out of a stock 283 . I've heard a lot of people say it won't hold up but I've got a "T" I've flogged on quite a bit and know a few others that are way harder on there cars than I am with the same set up and things seem to be holding together fine. And it looks clean

Anything without fenders looks best on 32 rails.
