That back problem really paid off! Have any more pics of the gauge job?
The stock faces look really good. Any info how you adapted the SW speedo instead of using the Mopar speedo that mj40's uses in his tech on converting '40 panels.
Between the modified and this '41 you're gonna have the coolest sht in Glasgow.

I made a new speedo panel like the stock one, without the hole for the odometer. Then I made a hole for the odometer in the bottom of the faceplate bezel. Looks almost stock.
The cab is mounted and I painted the innards this weekend.....
I then started some very basic body work on the outside of the cab, the back is kinda beat up...
The truck will get the same massey ferguson gray paint job that the RPU has..

You probably already know his, but once the front suspension is carrying the weight of the engine, move the shock to the top upper shock mount hole. I left mine in the lower hole and ended up breaking one of the mounts.

This is one of my favorite builds on here. I would like to do something similar soon.
Doors getting some work, there is no rust, but the bottom flanges were a little bent up.
Doors painted, hung, adjusted.
Window regulators and all glass installed.
Steering wheel and heater installed.
Rear glass installed.
I love following this thread and would love to see this truck up close.......pity I'm in Glasgow Scotland, around 2500 miles from Glasgow Kentucky

I have a question about installing the rear glass. Do you install the glass into the seal ,then install the seal into the truck from the inside? This, I think, would make pulling the seal over the pinch weld to the outside of the truck the last operation. I'm asking because I've not done mine yet and I can't see another way. thanks.Joel
Yes, when I did my 49 GMC it was backwards, pulling the string from the inside.
But on this..
1. Install the seal on the glass.
2. Run the rope around, meeting at the middle bottom.
3. Place in opening from the inside of the cab.
4. Pull string while someone is pressing firmly from the inside.
Took my wife and I about 5 minutes.
