Car is still being put together. New wires, dual quads and a front bumper are on the works.
You do great work!
That color looks a lot like the sea island green my 50F1 was and will be again.
Another big thumbs up @anthony myrick...
It isn't my Hotrod but me thinks the blacked out wires and blackwalls really talk Hotrod and perhaps chrome rocker covers and pipes would balance the simplicity of the look...matching the chrome headlight and any other of the minimal chrome...and...no to hood sides.
The color is from a late model Fiat.
We almost went with the olive
The picture in this thread that shows it in flat black “primer” was intended to be the final color. Something didn’t seem right. I love flat black but had second thoughts. Called the owner right after pulling it out of the booth. He wasn’t in love with it either. So green it was. I hope to use that olive choice on something else one day.
Nice work, looks real good.
I used the Verde Chiaro on my 49 Buick sedanette (see build thread here on HAMB). Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Also had a build thread on my 33 Dodge coupe on HAMB.
You guys are doing great work.
in the past few years there have been some nice retro looking OE colors
jeep and toyota have a couple of nice grays that would look cool
Very Nice!!, Here is mine
those cars have some beautiful front ends
Hi I am doing a 33 dodge roadster how did you hold the good top down I do not what to have the sides either
I will ask the owner.
He finished the assembly.
He planned on leather straps.
I have installed hidden latches underneath the hood tops.
Will try to find some info.
The hood bubbles look correct for the period. Just my 2 cents.

Ever thought about using the ply hood side design? heres my 34
Finding original bumpers for these is not easy or maybe you can find just one. We chose to use a pair of 33/34 Ford Bumpers which are easier to come by and fit the look of the car.
here is one way
Do you recall the tire sizes on it? It has a great stance and ride height.
I will try to find out.
The front suspension is a M2
The rear is that chassis engineering parallel leaf set up.
Thank for taking the time for the information
Hey I was wondering if u had any parts left over from ur 33 plymouth coupe
Nope. It belongs to a friend.
bout the only thing left over was an extra pedal and the package tray.
I kept the front and rear axles hoping for some sorta speedster build one day
What pieces do you need?
Separate names with a comma.
