A little progress on the 38 gasser,

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by X--GASSER, Feb 12, 2006.

  1. Spent the weekend digging through my fathers shed for parts to help with the build. I decided to row gears instead of a glide with a brake. Some may notice the T-10 has a Ford tail housing, this trans once was owned by Bill Hielscher it was one of his crash boxes. No, I'm not using that bellhousing, its for measuring purposes as I'll use a scattershield. Also, I found the old set of tri-y headers that were once on my fathers M/p 61 vette. There a little rough but I think they will be ok after having them blasted. The Hurst front mount was from my 37. There is still alot of work but I'm moving along...
