After seeing a cut down truck cab pic on here I had to try my own version so when a very rusty truck came up I started cutting, I liked the look so layed out some parts that I already had and it started to build itself, I know its not traditional but its kinda fun and cant wait to get on with the body once the frames done. I like it.

    It's ridiculous, and pointless, and . . . . . . . God help me . . . . . . . I love it. :D

You ought to hang the body with a little nose down rake so that big flat hood doesn't look so much like a picnic table. ;)

I think its cool too...its demented...not traditional, in as far as directly repeating the past, but, if its fast, and it looks crazy as hell, its at least more entertaining than watching a sea of Camaro's run...

Of course, I have WAY different rules, internally, for race cars than street cars...If its fast, and fun to watch go down the track, I have nothing but good things to say about it, generally.

Reminds me a little of that Orange Crosley Altered...
Don't remember who owns it now, but I THINK, at one time it was a R.D. car...

  15. Different for sure, I'm kinda digging it but not crazy about that drive shaft riding so close to the seat. What are you covering that with ?

    The frame bracing looks good.

What is your strategy with no front suspension and IRS?

Want to try ajustable solid struts on the rear, aso thinking about takeing off, or, haveing a limited slide joint on the front braces to let it flex a bit with no suspension
