I don't know if its been posted but I think this one has history and I kind of like it. It probably wouldn't pull an old sick woman off a bed pan though and I don't doubt that @hotroddon is gonna jump on here and say, well its a Thames or a Prefect and not an Anglia. Because he's not afraid to make me look dumb, most of my real friends aren't afraid to make me look dumb.

Anyway I still like the car, its even sweeter in color.

And I do agree it is stunning in color, especially in my garage, where sadly it no longer resides

It also had a Blown and Injected 351C in it for a while

 

Well I am one the 2 people you know that likes a Cleveland motor.

I never got to see it run, wish you had it I'd figure out a way to shame you into running someplace where I could watch it. Hell I'd even challenge you to a run against my whatever. With you out front by about 10 lengths I could see it make a pass. LOL

Always thought it was as nice an English as there was out there.

 

And that Cleveland motor now looks like this

The Dolt that I sold the car to has it up for sale again after a year of changing things thinking he could make a street car out of it. He has changed the wheels, brakes, seats, firewall, steering, and it has no motor or trans in it. It's a shame, it deserves better. I need to win the lottery, buy it back, reverse his shit and take it back to the March Meet.

 

Well I don't got two nickels to rub together, but if you were to get it back I could wrangle gas money for the bike and meet you in March. You must need someone to do grunt work.

That poor old car needs to be at home and the fair grounds and hot dawg stands are not it.

Sorry Guys - It was a poor attempt at humor. There was only one Blair's Chop Top car. The cage was little narrow and sometimes Phil had trouble seeing around the injector and would lean one way or the other. Just an optical illusion - it's a left hand drive car
