    Back when I had my Anglia drag racer, I had thoughts of doing something like this. Extending the length of the front of the fenders and maybe adding a bit of a lip.
    I'm glad I didn't..!

    Yea, during the last bit of reconstruction (I bought a crashed basket case), I had a hard time putting a short fat scoop on a tall skinny car. Sooo...
    Hell, most any fiberglass scoop makes most cars posted here marginal for the period.

    Mike, in that era slicks were in short supply on the bottom half of the planet and a lot of drag racers relied on road race tires which were a lot more plentiful (and available used).
