why are there sooo many gussets or blocks welded on that notch?? i have your taildragger kit and didnt see a need for it..should i add more to mine??

also, i dont notice hardly any pinion angle change from full up to down with the old 4-link setup.. i think it works good how it is. (of course, i checked my angles and measurements like 10 times before final weld!)

-and finally, those motor mounts are sweet!, i ended up just making my own tho cuz i didnt use the fatman MII and had to modify the whole damn front end.....

if you read the post this notch was before the gambino kit notch's and was made from 2 x 3 box tubing (same notch in the fuck you 54), this car has no top , and i was concerned about flex so i guseted the hell out of it.these notchs (the fuck you 54, this car , and road zombie larrys 49 chevy ) were the catalus of the gambino notch witch dont need these gussets

All the work looks great, those welds are awesome and everything looks bullet proof and strong. Ever done a tail dragger kit on a '54 Plymouth? I don't mind losing the back seat if I have to.

It's too bad you had to paint it all. It was so beautiful in bare metal. Especially those motor mounts. Great work like always.

man I like those motor mounts, if I ever put a v8 in my wagon i'll be calling you for a set... are they raised up so when the bags lay out the oil pan doesn't rest on the ground? or because of the notch in the front frame for the rack n pinion unit? or am I just confused on what I'm looking at:D

Car looks great Alex, wish I lived closer so I could see it in person. Maybe it'll be at Roundup '09 in Austin. Hopefully I'll have my car there. If you don't mind I might need to ask you some question when I bag my '54 Plymouth.
