put a few in the "lowrider/prom" thread, and had a few requests for other more detailed pics. i don't have the best pictures, but i'll post what i have.

sam at hub city customs in mt. vernon busted his ass smoothing the whole car out after i was done "modifying", and the harpoon laid the flake and panels. jeff hogue striped it, and sam then finished the clear. still in the works, but i've been driving the shit out of it.

A little wild for my tastes but a damn nice car. It's a shame that there are so few Pontiacs of this era left. They were very cool cars.

I remember that you had him flown up there to shoot a couple of cars. Looks bad-ass......straight outta Whittier Blvd. KNUX!

  8. GAY. If I were you, I would have painted it green with a white top.

Did Sam get back to you about the trim peices yet? It'd be nice to get the car together....oh yeah, and mad props to me for helping get that driver's door hung and that smashed beer can "hidden" in the depths of the car...did you find it yet?

  26. Love those Pontiacs, even if this is a bit more outlandish than what I would drive. I love the flake however, and the pipes too. Got any interior shots?

thanks for the kind words guys.

unfortunetely, the car isn't "complete" yet. still needs interior.(has white tuck n roll seat covers, and homeade door panels, and no headliner) this will get finished up this winter. needs the bumpers done, and still waiting on a few pieces that are still getting painted....-60 buick headlight rings, the cowl vent, a lower dash that the radio opening was filled, and a wheel and column.

i tore this thing down a year ago. i finally got it back last month and have been having way to much fun driving around. hell, i still don't have all my side windows in yet because time spent working on that takes away from time rollin around and enjoying my once again daily driver. of course, i look out the window and see it's pissing rain today,,,,so maybe i'd better get to putting those windows in....HA

you may not be able to tell from the pics, but the panels on the body are done with laquer cobwebbing....turned out pretty cool. frenched and tunneled the taillights, deleted the reverse lights, (thanks josh) molded the upper rear quarter stainless trim, shaved the emblems, hood, door handles and trunk lock. sort of subtle, but if you know pontiacs, you'll see these things right away.

and boones, not sure if i'll be at GG's show with the car, but i'll be at the amocat open house for sure with it. come on by and say hi.

  29. Funny thing about that....I had to drive the car from the exhaust shop back to Sam's shop one day....Fresh flake on the hood, the dash is flaked too....It was extremely sunny that day, and I was heading directly into the sun the whole way home....It was like driving a car with a kalidescope windshield! ha ha!
