Any info on the chop?
Here's a couple of pics of the grill
Brent , I did the chop about two years ago. It was about 3 1/2" in front and about 4" and some change in back. The rear window is stock laid down a little. Everything is leaded with a skim coat over it.
love it man!
The grill really looks great. If you really like the Lyon caps I have 2 real, real nice ones I would be willing to sell. Let me know if you are interested and I can send you pictures.
Thanks Dave. I'm interested in the caps for sure. How much are you wanting?
Really cool car love the stance and look!

Nice job, good to see another Mopar.
Stunning car! I absolutely love these old mopars.
I love customs, great looking car. HRP
I like it. I think the late 40's Mopar's have a lot of potential to be kustom fodder. The business coupe has the huge rear end that lends itself to the custom side. I love what you did with the car. I'd like to see more of these as customs. They're are still plenty of them out there and at very reasonable prices. I'd like to see some body extend the sail panels further down towards the rear end of the car to see how that would flow.
Thanks for sharing your work so far. I dig it!
Damn , I like it a lot ! What Paint plans do you have ? I hope you're gonna keep it " suede / matte " .
Love the Mopar! Any more pics?
Very nice looking car I would drive it!
OldStyle, I'm gonna keep it this way for a while. I've got other projects going and the slightly "blotchy" finish on the sealer gives it the look I like for an old custom. I'm sure it will get pretty crappy over the summer of commuting the 60+ miles for work every day and weekend roadtrips, but this car was restyled to be driven.
That's beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Great work. I like it. Really different in a great way.
Got to see it today, super bitchin' must see in person!
That is slick. The Navy yard gray doesn't look bad either.
Love the stance! I am in the middle of reworking the suspension on my 47' Plymouth. What tires are you running?
Nice to see something "Different"...
Very nice indeed...really like those lines..
Thanks for sharing..
love the whole car, you did a great job an the grill.
Great looking car!!!
Great looking custom - really great looking - beautiful job!
Love the Grill
I also have a s10 subframe on my 47 , how did you lower the front springs and spindles , that's what I did but it's still not low enough
