Those headlight stands on that coupe are so ugly that they are beautiful!

Thanks Ryan and extended thank to Randy...interesting the progression in speed, up n' up...I guess that's the goal after all eh...

Also interesting is the difference in Tags between Bonneville and El Mirage...the Date being just a Year on the Bonneville...perhaps that's due to the number of events per...
Pics are golden...and there's more trove to come...oh yeah!!...fingers crossed...

Different timing organizations, Bonneville used the Southern California Timing Association, not Russetta.

Your father had a high bar for detail as these pics clearly illustrate...It's like a Factory Hotrod 0 miles...beats the generic alternatives by a checkered flag...

I'm not as up on the vintage history as so many here although I revere it all. I have seen that Ryan's done a few Threads on your Fathers legacy in the Culture and I'm noting his many contributions. I've bounced around through them...amazing really...You've been here at the Hamb for a while now and thanks for sharing the journey with your Father...I can surely speak for myself and the others that we look forward to more of the greatness that you've experienced growing up with a go fast family as you have...;)

Another car Dad was involved with. At the time, he was Vic Edelbrock's Machine Shop Foreman. He designed and machined this 8V progressive linkage manifold, (still have the manifold). Also, one of early successful automatic transmissions in drag racing. 1.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg Manifold (2).JPG

Great stuff. His is one of "those" names that I have known since I picked up the first Hot Rod Magazine I saw on the Bookmobile when it stopped at Capt Wilkes Elementary School on Bainbridge Island Wa when I was in the 5th grade early in 1958. .

  17. Thank you Randy and Ryan!
If those pictures don’t get your pulse up, you need to get your wiring checked and go back to your LS forum.
Those cars are a time capsule of the Hot Rod Heritage.
