Best place to buy Stromberg 97's?
At Fort Knox...
It's like going to the dentist. You hate the thought of it but after it you're sure glad you did. Get the real deal.
For those of you who need ported vacuum, Stromberg now makes a ported carb base.
Stromberg made these in the 1940's.
How many do you need ? I can supply you with good re-buildable cores.
Pretty generic question. Like asking the best place to buy a car...
What are you looking for - new? used? rebuilt? cores? 1? 10? 100?
Looking for new. Thanks all
Email Clive at Stromberg, one of the nicest blokes you will ever deal with! Those are mine on my avatar, Clive jetted them for the blower motor, custom fit the linkage to fit the blower adapter I bought from H&H, used chrome hardware and painted them the same color as my car. Not only do they look stellar but they run great and no leaks.
Here is a good Cliveism, he emailed me one day to let me know that he accidentally overcharged me on a few items that I ordered, came to a couple hundred dollars. I was so exited about the carbs I didn't even realize the billing issue. Extraordinary service in a day and age where customer care is in short supply on either side on the pond. Oh, and he gave me a free t shirt.
