94's v 97's ????

    I am new to these carbs and dont know wich way to go so I need opionions , advantages disadvatages of each. They will be going on a 304 cid flathead if it matters.:D
     
  2. There have been a few threads on this in the past. The search function is your friend...
     
  3. The 97 is a much simpler carb and preferred for multi carb setups due to it's mechanical power valve. The 97 is also the preferred carb back in the day if you want "the look".

    The 94 is a more modern carb with a vacuum power valve. On it's own a better carb but it can be a pain to setup in multiple carb setups.
