Is the 8N Ford tractor pressure plate, clutch disc, the same as the 9" clutch in my 39 coupe? I basically need a clutch kit and see tractor clutch kits use the 91A-7550. I am on the cheap so prices seemed better. Unless someone know of a good cheap kit. Thanks

Somewhere I read the pressure plates were the same as cars, except the tractors didn't have the outside counterweights. So, would it still fit in the tractor trans if the weights were hanging out there?

Check with Lou at Fort Wayne Clutch. I've been sending my customers there for years for Pressure Plates without the counter weights.

I did a Clutch for the neighbor on his Ford Jubilee, that clutch had the 3 weights on it I think that Alchemy is referring to. Heck, even the starter looked like it would swap for a EV8

The OEM 427 cover had 12 springs and no weights also . Tractor had no weights , when it left the factory . Tractor cluck is engaged or disengaged , no reason for weights , you don’t shift gears moving
