8BA Flathead to a Muncie M-21?

    i have been looking online for a while now and i can't find an adapter to make my Muncie bolt up to my flathead. Speedway Motors makes an adapter that is fot the 1932-1948 Ford Flatheads.

    Has anyone used this adapter?
    Does anyone know if i can use this adapter or anyway that i can make it work?

    I don't know if that specific adapter will work with your transmission but if you want an answer about the old Ford motor to new Ford motor the answer is yes. In '48 Ford started to use the 8BA model engine in the trucks. They still used the old transmissions though, so they used a 1/2 bell to convert the old trans to the 8BA. What you need to find is an old truck '48-'50 1/2 bell and a matching starter plate.
