Filled it up with fuel this morning to finally get going, pouring fuel out of a tank vent line that went hard. Back at the auto parts store now.

If it says Km, just double the number to get actual distance.
However, 120Kph isn't 120 mph and will get you relieved of all ready cash in Mexico.
    just sayin.

I scares me when I read something Larry wrote and agree with it. Nice car. One of the few Fords I like as well as or even better than their Chevy counterpart.

Well, then, how about a picture of your sister, if she is un-married.

  11. It's not double....there are 1.6 km to a mile.... Therefore 100 mph equals 160 kph, simple right?

100 kph or kilometers per hour equals 62 miles per hour. So if you multiply kph by .62 you have speed in mph. 100 kilometers multiplied by .62 equals 62 miles. Also works for converting kilometers to miles.
If you just use .6 as your conversion factor it will get you close!

Looks like you stopped at the right place. It looks sleeker than the '64, is it just the trim or are there body differences?

You and Larry are nice guys, and over average when it comes to stupidity.
If you can fix brakes or time a cam conversation to and from metric should be a piece of cake! B)

Love to see that the OP broke 160 km :D :p

You can do it, and if we start to use more metric feel free to use this chart to come up with the answer

If the first lines seemed like an insult, you might be in the age for glasses too, it's not my fault if it isn't read as it was ment LOL

Almost on the boat! No problems after the fuel line. Right around 70 mph the whole way back.

  20. I like how the previous owner thought to put wheel locks on wheels that no one but him wanted.

Hectare is square (area) measurement not length. Mostly wondering how the rest of the drive went.

  24. Wondering who would look it up... The drive.. me too. That's a great looking Ford, one of my favorites.

Well done gentlemen! Good - now there's another 63 1/2 in Victoria so maybe people will have less chance to bug us about wanting to sell ours! We've had 32 inquiries since last summer. It has a 390 auto and is bone stock except for glasspacks. I've gone through it mechanically from bumper to bumper and only have to seal and reinstall the gas tank and fine tune the carb and throttle linkage and it's off to our son on the mainland for interior, bodywork and paint.

And Larry, I totally sympathize with you regarding metric mileage! I live here and I hate it! I watch the Washington State channels for weather reports just to not be able see Celcius temperatures and distances in kilometers!
