What the hell is an 8-track? Great, I guess all you guys want me to give up my 78s for those new fangled gadgets,,,,,,, never going to happen.
I have a perfect example of that on vinyl here, still in the plastic wrap, I'm going to have to crank it up now, I have it in the computer, but it's not the same as playing the record. . I remember in the 80's there was a thin adhesive backed foam tape, it was for insulation around windows, i used to trim it with a razor blade, and replace the deteriorated foam in tapes with it. take the tape apart, and take out the metal piece, scrape off the crumbled foam and use that foam, worked great. anyone remember trying to fix a favorite tape the machine ate, then dropping the roll of tape, and trying to rewind it?
the yellow player on the home page, sure brings back memories, used to be able to change tracks with your foot, didn't have to get up. early remote control?
