74 nova tranny

So, I'm 14 and "restoring" a 74 nova the best I can. I'm buying a chevy 350 from a 97 chevy 3500 (which means VORTEC!!) And I need a transmission. After a bunch of research and testing which ratios I want (using an xbox game) I came up with a t5 5 speed.

My father also has a 74 nova custom with a 350hp 350 and an m22gearset with m21 case, so its about 3000rpms on the highway with 3.08 gears. I know I probably should get a 4 speed or tremec but like I said, I'm 14 and on a budget.

So my question is, which car/truck and year do I get the trans from or any other 5 speeds for cheap? So far I've seen them in mustangs, camaros, and chevy s10 trucks. Thanks in advance.
