727 Trans Question

    Purchased a 727 trans with a reverse manual valve body.
    Is the reverse pattern now P-R-N-1-2-D ?

    Also, it came without a dipstick tube or dipstick, so how do
    I know what the "full" level is ?

    correct on the shift pattern,should be p-r-n-1-2-3- but check it with car on jackstands turbo action transmissions in florida should be able to help with a new dip stick and tube

    Buy a dipstick & tube. W/o the tube you really can't fill the tranny anyway, it won't stay in where it connects @ the bottom.:)

    I had a reverse manual valve body and stall converter behind the built 383 in my 68 cuda fastback, fun ride, youll enjoy the tranny.
