700r4 shifting issues

So last Monday my car went from being fine to only having first and reverse I checked the governor and saw that it was stuck so I replaced it and it worked it shifted kinda early but it was fine that was yesterday afternoon I hopped in it today and it shifted way late out of first so I did a little adjusting on the TV cable and nothing changed any ideas?

The 'cable' has NOTHING to do with 'when it shifts'. It sets pump pressure in relation to throttle position. Set it correctly then forget it. You fool with the cable and you'll burn up the transmission.
