Just talked to him, stopped for fuel and noticed front suspension issues. Anybody close eh?
Ben beat me to it. Bob thinks it is an upper left balljoint. He wanted to get his cell out there. He is just getting a call into AAA and will be looking for a shop and some help I am sure.
Bobs Cell. Seven One five 216-4145
Oh man, he's in the middle of nowhere (although Moosejaw is kind of a cool town with lots of history if he has the time.)
Hope there's some locals who can help him out!
Ben, throw the date in the title so folks do not think this is the OTHER breakdown thread!
Oh crap! The adventure continues. Bump.
bump for BOB.....
Fordnutz is in MJ, Kruzer63 and a couple others are in Regina. I'l PM Bob some particulars.
I pm'd him a few ph #'s. Someone call him and let him know.
PM them to me, Bob may not have net access. I can relay tehm to him.
Bump, no news is good news...........we hope
I found Davey Rod Shop in Mossejaw, Passed the number on to Bob. Brent there says he has some MII parts. Keep your fingers crossed.
Fordnutz lives in Moose Jaw and has the pulse of the rod action in that city.
Haha! 'Pulse of the rod'.....that's funny. Bump for Bob....and his lovely wife.
Bump..Should not be a problem locating the parts required locally.
Ernie Welta & Ben D hooked us up with Brent Davey, the car is at his shop now and he has a upper control to replace the broken one. It was not a upper ball joint.
Can't thank Ben D and Trent enough for posting this. We should be on the road by 10am and according to a local who drives to Green Bay for the Packer Bears game every year it's a 14/15 hour drive straight through.
Have never had this much trouble on single trip before but then again the old girl has got 175,600 miles on her as we speak.

Wishing you and your sweetie safe travels back to Wisconie, Bob.
Poor baby's going to need attention when she gets home... and the car as well!
...Just don't break it anymore on the way home! Good luck!
Wow! Talk about a cool network of good folks willing and able to help a fellow HAMB'ER out in time of need!Don't leave home without it! HAMB that is! Best of luck on the rest of the trip,Bob and Maggie! Thanks for sharing ,good and bad! It's all part of the experience!!
Moose Jaw may not be the "centre of the universe" but it sure is a better place to have suspension issues than Upper Rubber Boot, Alaska. Thanks, Bob, for sharing your trip with everyone and thanks to all those that lent a hand. Safe travels to both of you and maybe we can share a 'pop' on the salt.
Just Left Brent's shop, he has the new control arm in and is going to check the the other side. Car should be ready to go at 8am, will pick it up and hitail it for home. Wish me luck.
