    69th annual Grand Natl. Roadster Show-Pt. 4
    Jan. 28, 2018
    Fairplex, Pomona CA

....and here we are at the last exhibition hall early in the evening during the awards ceremony. Check out the "Big Guns" housed inside whose owners likely shucked-out the "largess" in pursuit of the glory, glamour, accolades, fame (plus a nice check from the L.A. Roadsters) that the "Big Shiny Hardware" brings to those whose topless show-piece gets the nod from the judges and honor of this years "America's Most Beautiful Roadster". This year's worthy recipient was a 1930-1 Model A Ford Hi-Boy roadster (its the one painted dark blue w/a red-bordered gold stripe along the body line, custom "Indy-roadster-style" three-wing knock off wheels and Hilborn-style fuel-injected SBC power). Also some outstanding "perfect-finish", "under construction" & "done-nice" stuff in the "Builder Booth" & Manufacturer displays throughout the main hall show floor (from Ford Model A's to a Tri-5 Chevy's). Didn't get all the roadster competitors, just the one's I thought would be "HAMB-worthy". Hope you see one that you like, and maybe the pics will inspire some of you from colder winter climates to make time to come out to the show in 2019 (It was T-shirt, short & sandals weather on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018 when I attended). Until then, Enjoy the view! See you at the next show or event....PRE48V-8\;^]

*PS/By the way, there is another group of "Bonus Coverage" images after this, focusing on a few rods & customs that drove in and parked outside in between the exhibition buildings and a few more left over from the "Suede Palace". Hope you like 'em, too!....

Yeah, you're right! Thanks for the catch, its been corrected. Didn't pay attention to the roadster body 1/4 panels. The '33-'34 Ford suicide doors didn't throw me off, though.....PRE48V-8\;^]
