I just bought a 67 Fairlane with a 289. I'm thinking about building a streetable Stock or Super Stock class car clone that would look the part. Does anybody have a set of rules for these classes they can post from 67? Also, what were some of the characteristics of some of these cars in 67. Another words, what size wheels & tires were they running. Did they run headers or stock manifolds. Help me out here with anything else you can think of. Also does anybody have any detailed pictures they can post from 67? What class would a 289 Fairlane have fit in back then? Help me out here with whatever you think I might need to know.
