Have 65 nova with front mount moon tank. Going to remount front bumper. Tank is in line with bumper. Having center section cut out, 18 inches, middle. Remount with original brackets. Full chassi has been built from front to rear of car. already raced. Tank is mounted to welded on frame bracket at slight angle downward. Was planning on having tube frame 1 1/4 tubing going from both sides of front bracket below tank and going forward to front of tank parallel to ground. Like big wide U . Then another tube from rear welded to top of bottom tube going forward at 45 degree angle to protect front top of tank. then bridge both in front. This hole assemble could be unbolted off sides to remove tank if necessary. Then another separate tube bolted to ends of bumper were they were cut off, and edge finished going around rear of tank. rules say enclosed? Can this cage be bolted on with say grade 8 bolts?
