Looks like my trucks got a leak. I’ve had a rummage around the net, but can’t find anything. Is it a split seal, rope or modern, can I replace it by dropping the pan, or is it engine out? Appreciate any help

national 5116 or felpro bs30135 are split rubber, to replace the rope seal, but seem to be out of stock at parts stores right now.

rope seals are tricky to replace without pulling the crankshaft, so engine out. If you can find a rubber seal, it should be something you can do without engine removal.
