So.... me and my roommate got bored today and decided to hack the roof off my wife's riviera. Then we decided to put it back on but a few inches lower. Mind you all this happened from 1:30pm to about 12:00 am. That's right one day!!!!!! less than 12 hours. O yeah we also paused for a few for dinner. Only uploaded a few pics click on the link for a slide show.

I am going to be watching this one to see it in all it's glory when she's done.

  9. So,did you just cut out the metal strip above the rear window and lower the top back down to it? In the pic's it looks like the rear window wasn't touched.

all of the glass fits. back window did not change and all the side glass rolls up just fine. the windshield will be the only thing needing cut and just 2 inches off the top. glass guy said no big deal.

Nice work, good eye for proportion, too. Always thought the 1st-gen Riviera´s would improve from a slight top-chop, bringing that somewhat tall-looking greenhouse into a better proportion with the most sleek-flowing lower-body they had. The way the original Bill Mitchell´s "Silver Arrow" -concept was, prior to the actual production car they came out with. Thanks again for posting, can´t wait to see more of Your progress.

Ok so it been way to long but I finally got a break fom customers cars. Shot the car in a dtm to store it. Now its back inside. Got the air suspension finished and working perfect. The brakes and drive train dialed in so now its road worthy. But the big new is the chop is done minus body work. And glass is going in Saturday morning. I will take lots of pictures on how we do it and update again. Thanks
