Had some fun out at the Lone Star Round Up and also brought home a new project at the same time. We picked up a 64 Galaxie and now want to make some mods.
I am looking to drop it 2 to 3 inches all around and also do a conversion on the front to disc brakes. I have heard that T-Bird or Granaga spindles will bolt right up and drop the front, but how much drop? What years do I need to locate if this is true? I dont want to waste my time or money with the unknown.
I would also like to add a brake booster and dual chamber master cylinder. Anyone have any idea what make, model or year brake booster will bolt up to this car (If there is one)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey man, there are several companies out there that make disc brake conversions for your Gal.
all the big ones do i think, SSBC, etc., etc.

this is a smaller company, might be a litle cheaper for you.
    try www.dfbrakes.com
i think the whole kit is $600-$800.

and...mine is a '65 so i don't know a lot about the '63/'64's but i am almost for sure there are drop spindles out there for your car.

if you can't find them, let me know.

    hope this helps,
    steve

Don't click the DFBrakes.com link. Goes to a virus page. Google reveals dude was a scam artist.

As far as my research has found, the only place to get drop spindles for the 59-64 full size fords is Fatman Fabrications. They cost around $600
