Absolutely love everything about this car!!
How's about a picture of the model car box art????..... I have this kit... Can't wait to start on it!....
Here's a model that someone on Model Cars Magazine built...
Hope this is OK to post these here... if not, let me know and I'll delete this post..
Yea it's not a drag car
Love these old comets ,nice old picture of 75/80 drag strip you can see it on motor trend TV thay use it for testing some times. It been shut down a long time. What a crazy track ,those were the days .Thank for the memories.
I’m gonna throw this up here….it’s a year late…but still pretty cool piece of history on display at the Henry Ford Museum…
How about a work in progress !!
Here are a couple of Comets that run with our nostlagia club Mid Atlantic Nostalgia Drag Racing Assoc MANDRA
They put a Falcon grill in it which was single headlights.
I have 64 and 65 Falcons, as well as 64 and 65 Comets. No Falcon (at least released in the USA) ever had the "electric shaver" style grille.
Falcons had larger headlights, so this has to be custom, built out of a couple of 64 Comet grilles. Sorry.
The '64 grille was designed off the Lincoln Continental. I'm betting that's a wide Lincoln grille, possibly Mercury Marauder.
Do you know the driver of the '63 S-22? I'd like to meet him and get the scoop on his setup.
He is a good friend, Mark Santee ,the car runs low 10's and is very competitive ,he is our past Champion of the series, He is on FB ,Lives in eastern PA
Yea I know but it's too nice not to post.
One of my favorites but.......
Is that 2 different cars (one a clone one the original?) I noticed Jardine header decal missing on the last few as well as window decals.
BOTH cars really 'trip-my-trigger'!
Damn, that's nice!....
