    Automatic or stick?

    And I know this is a really dumb question, but I only owned a '64. Is that a '65 you've got? I know it's not a '64. I'm going to look at another '64 today, but it's a 4-door which just doesn't thrill me.

By the way, I've been meaning to say Thank You for starting this long-running thread. This is one of my favorite threads of all time. So many cool pix to see.

The red 4-door? That's not a '64. Wrong tail lights.

Oh! The gray one that's supposed to be a Cyclone?

I've never used Craigslist because I've heard they have lots of scams. It immediately makes me suspicious when I see the first 2 Comets I checked are both listed in Whittier. That seems odd.

Oh well. I guess it can't hurt to call.

Thanks for the heads up, Roy.

I'm sorry, I know I'm sick, but I think that Bronco'd chassis Comet in Oregon is BITCHIN!!!!!!!!!!

Out in the dunes at Glamis with that beast would be NIRVANA!!!!. Then, take the Rocket over to the sand drags, equipped with paddles, and whoop some arse!!!!!! Oh yea.....:D

Hmm. It's probably less than 1000 miles away.

And it IS a unique vehicle.

And it already has CA plates.

But it would probably get me in a TON of trouble! Hmm.

Got just got my July Carcraft that has Great coverage and photos of Todd's Comet Cyclone, that how those 65's Comets AFX's come out of the chute. Back when I ran the AFX or BFX I would notice there was always people running to the fence. They look look like there moving while there sitting still.
Does Todd's Comet have Fiberglas fenders and doors on it? I was also wondering how much it weighted w/o driver? Keep up the good work Todd.

Thats funny. The car sat in my garage for two weeks, in anticipation for the photo shoot, and I don't think I once tapped around the car! But- I'm pretty sure they are steel. The front fender lips have a beautiful patina from when the tires just kiss them from the wheels-up launches!

Oh..... Don't be dangling that carrot out in front of this old Mule. Before I die, the world will see me toodling around in a Bronco- THE ORIGINAL ASSAULT VEHICLE.... I"m thinking a roadtrip up to your neck of the woods may be in order. :D

Oops! There must be a typo in your post.

I thought you said NINE early Broncos. That can't be right. Can it?

Go for it Frog. Mine is kind of a hack job but the Cleveland is in there and still runs 11.50's.

On my never ending list of future projects is to open up the engine compartment with a Crites kit or something on my own like the FE guy's do so you can actually work on the thing.

There is a new Cleveland block coming out soon from Mark Mckeown called the Titus block. It has several improvements over a stock block which is the weak link in a Cleveland. It should be out soon? Brian

Nope, 9 is the number, not including the one in the picture. I am pretty fond of the little Bronco's!!

Dale, there is a keg of Coors light in the shop, (Probably why my Galaxie isn't finished) and a booze store that sells the Fine Shine you Cali guys like so much!!

    Love it!!

Todd's car is all steel, save for bumpers and hood, and with him weighs in at around 3,100 pounds, give or take a six -pack...

Truly a banner year for the Comets, guys! Three features, and now this came in the mail today. A feature as well, but in Mooneyes own magazine/catalog. A bit different style of photography, but it looks so bitchin!!!
