finally got to test today. ended up needing a different rear gear, shifter replaced and junk jegs line lock only worked for one burnout. car still did decent but never got to make a decent full pass. new gear is 3/4 set up, line lock is replaced, and have a shifter ready to go in. tallied my hours up. 415 hrs in 10 weeks while working a regular job as well. car was finished on a very low budget

very very very big thanks to quain stott. Without him none of this would be possible. allowed me to use his shop when needed, shared his knowledge throughout and turned some wrenches on it as well

What line lock did you switch to ? I put in a Jegs one also. It was $30 on sale - guess we know why now.

I switched to a hurst line lock that I have had for a while, I will be calling jegs about theirs this week. It only worked for one burnout and that was after we had fixed it not working before it was ever used.

The Southeast gasser race at greer tomorrow has been moved to next Saturday if anyone was planning on coming

If anyone is free this Saturday may the 2 come check out the southeast gassers in greer sc. Over 20 period correct cars already pre entered. Got the line lock fixed on the falcon, a new shifter installed, the brakes bled again, valves adjusted, wheels polished, and car waxed. I can't wait

    Wow Looks great!
The Hurst line lock works! It can stand any amount of brake line pressure and STILL release clean--the others just can't stand much line pressure or they fail to release--Hurst is the only one to get period!
Been through that a half dozen times--
