63 Falcon convertible in San Diego

Hey gang,
I've lurked here for a long time, but this is my first post. I've had a 63 Falcon convertible for about 5 years. It's bone stock with a 170ci and a 2 speed automatic. I'm at the point where I'm either going to make some changes or sell it and pick up something else. I'm not much of a mechanic, so I plan on digging around in here to learn more.

If I make changes I want to keep it period correct. So a 260 and maybe a 4 speed. Anyway, here's a couple pics of her.

I had a 63 1/2 Falcon Sprint in high school in 1966, I didn't realize what I had until it was gone.

 

Love it! My dad had a 64 sprint in highschool in the early 70s. That's where I got the bug from.
