Does anyone know if a water pump from a 65 430 can be used on a 62? Those water pumps are hard to find but I have located one for a 65. I'm just wondering if they are the same.

Have you tried Kanter Products or Egge Engine parts? If all else fails you may be able to have your pump rebuilt, should be some rebuilders in Houston.

65 has the 462 that interchanges with the 430.

Not to steel the tread, but some old guy came into my shop today and told me his 61 Lincoln was a unibody car? I thought all Lincolns were frame construction cars, was he feeding me a line? Gene

I wish it wasnt the case though, makes the whole custom route difficult.

'65 did have a 430 also. Should interchange just fine.

Yep mine is a unibody (62 Lincoln) and it sure does make the custom route hard!
