Wish I had a good photo of mine for you. In a nutshell, The carbs on each side are ganged together. From there, a vertical rod goes down to a bell crank on each side which is connected to a shaft running under the supercharger.

Thanks Enloe, the overall unit really is cool! The linkage is truly just a crude knock off of premier European engineering. Lacking user friendly adjustment arms and shafts. I mentioned to Jim once of introducing some proper period correct Jaguar linkage parts, which would allow for micro adjustments w/o all the nuisance! Found a couple, still searching for now.

Not very professional video, however, it's insightful :)

Thanks and thanks for all your insights along the way. It's still a work in progress but I can pretty much enjoy it for the entire season as is and that's huge! My generator setup is forcing me to not use the bonnet style air filters so I'll be fabricating some small velocity stacks very soon like the old Webers used.

Thanks, it does pull pretty hard, 4th gear is the one that really gets me...it grabs so hard and feels like it wants to take ya to 180mph. Bonneville???

Chad I would be interested in how it would pull in the quarter mile (ET wise). A small block that pulls hard in 4th gear sounds like a bunch of fun IMO.

I agree, I'm actually anxious to know! I think it's ready now too, my old Moon coolant overflow tank is mounted and the driveshaft safety loop is complete. Just needs the top buttoned down. Maybe there's some item I've overlooked but I believe it's ready?
Naturally it's not the way I want it yet...it needs the rear springs for my Pie Crusts to fit under, which would force me to add a 1/2" to the front lift. Then old cable pull exhaust cutouts. It would be really close to what I envision at that point!

And just a FYI for the Latham guys, I went back to the NO metering rod setup and simply ran .072 jets. I'm not in the mood to create "club foot" rods to create happy AFR readings through all ranges, so this works the best thus far. Thanks to Jon at the carburetor shop for sharing that old '60's racing track story/fix!!!

A couple more items sorted...there was a bit too much pressure inside, so I finally found some proper Offenhouser valve cover breathers.
And for anyone who may run into starter heat soak issues, I found a pretty clean fix. These old headers only left 3/16" between the front of the stock starter case and the front pipe. That setup definitely was not designed for 3-4 start and stops in town. So Proform's #141-684 starter was purchased and then Jeff at Larko Electric took it apart to update all the things that new starter companies don't do in production. Such as grinding off a lousy casting seam on the lever where it rides in the aluminum housing, a dab of grease for that arm to pivot in, proper nuts/washers on the solenoid terminals instead of the speed nuts that are known to fail and finally a solenoid end cap revamp so I could run my factory wiring harness. All good now!

Mini velocity stacks hammered out, seemed like a period correct technique.

This thread was just shared with me. I'm following a very similar theme...except the Latham was bought for my car back in the day. I have letters from Norman Latham showing that the original owner was building up a 327 to use with the Latham. I'll follow the same theme and retain as much of the early speed parts as possible, with hopes of keeping everything '62 or earlier (the car was parked in '63)

I look forward to reading through the thread and seeing what challenges you have had and overcome.

Sounds like a fun one! I'll take a look at yours...unfortunately this one's will go up for auction soon. I can't enjoy the car with the Latham where I live (1.3 miles of gravel driveway)!!!
