All the local stores have a part number 7018, but it's the wrong kit. Springs are all too small. Anyone have a good part number? 11X2 drum brakes.

Raybestos No Kit, but individual parts for 61-63 Front: Return spring 131 Screw spring 411 Pin/Anchor 1106 Top cup 1132 Spring 1150 Rear: Kit 7020 Looks like the front Pin/Anchor is the only difference front the rear kit. (rear pin 1107) Bendix has no Front kit: Return spring 80304 Adj screw spring 80508 Pin 80706 Cup 80723 Hold down spring 80712 Rear kit H7020
Maybe '62 is getting into the edge of self adjusting stuff; those 7018 & 7017 kits reach up into later years. If you have normal brakes; maybe check an H7020 kit, looks like regular springs and stuff.

My old books state '61-'63 and '64 up. I did have info from Carlsons website but it was just the same as all the other info 1720 and 1718.
I have access to all the major vendors' commercial catalogs and they all show the 7018 part number but those are not what is on the truck. These springs are much heavier. The 7020 doesn't match either. Perhaps someone put the wrong stuff on the truck years ago. Thanks for your work boys.
If you have 11x2 brakes non self adjusting , maybe look at NAPA UP80304 retract springs, UP80503 adjuster springs, and UP80409 hold downs. The NAPA retract springs are a little larger in diameter compared to Raybestos & Carlson, etc kits. Most of the brake stuff is pretty much same for any Bendix type 11x2 brakes whether it be GM, Ford, etc.
