This is an original 215 Aluminum V8 , 4 speed convertible that needs to be saved. I am moving and have lost storage , so I am looking for it’s new home. It is too nice a car to scrap or part out ! Car is a Michigan car and has some rust. I have done a lot of the work, but is a good project for someone familiar with, or wanting to learn body work. I have replaced rocker structure with a 2x4 rectangular tube , welded into the unibody structure and hidden in the new rockers ( formed but not yet welded in ). The body structure is now BETTER than original. The floors are replaced. Trunk is pretty solid, but has some pinholes. My plan was to replace gas tank with Mustang tank, which will replace the trunk floor. Trunk lid is replaced by rust free part. Now what remains to be done : rear quarters need to be replaced - I have a set of rust free quarters ( in three pieces for shipping....). Front fenders need minor patching , and some inner panels need patching. Engine runs ( from separate fuel can) , but smokes. Transmission, clutch good. Brakes and suspension good. All glass except wind wings is good. The new deck lid and quarters are from a Skylark - I have the Skylark chrome to use, or fill the holes. Interior is nice , white roll and pleated vinyl. Fuel tank and exhaust are missing - otherwise car is complete. Please save this car - give me an offer ! I can deliver within 200 miles or so for gas money.
