I did the search but I couldn't find any pics of '61 to '63 Imperial Crown (mild/bellflower) customs. So if you got some, please show them! Thanks Ramon
I doubt you'll find any, they're fairly rare cars, low production numbers and most of the ones that survived daily driver use got raped of their 413 and scrapped or they got smashed in the demolition derby. It's a shame. But you can be the first. I think a big Imperial would look great with that look, be a trend setter.
X2....The big Imperial was quite expensive for anyone to start customizing and looked at more as "your folks car" in the day....but it already had many custom trends...pancaked hood...cool taillights/headlights...etc, etc and had Watson gotten ahold of one it would have been custom history!!
Well, that suprised me! Would be nice to build a nice bellflower style crown coupe but first I need to get the Merc back on the road.....
I even owned one for a few weeks and I don't have a photo. You'll have to search with google or whatnot and see what comes up, but as mentioned, they were rare in the first place and more desirable as a demo car than anything else.
Funny. I was on here researching these monsters, because I went to look at one today. Here are some pictures I took. (they are hard to even get good pictures of online anywhere, you're right). ======================== As for this one it's a nice project car - no rust, too good to part out. these have such crazy body lines - especially the front clip (1-piece...??!!) and hood design. I had only seen a couple these up close before. Wild design. ======================== I have NO idea what I'll do with it if we make the deal...but someone needs to save it. Price is good, title, 2- owners, 100% there...just been parked for the last few years. ======================== Anyway - maybe these pics will be good to get an idea. I noticed all the photos I find online of 1962s on Mopar sites are not the best for details. ******Maybe someone can photoshop it for the original poster, for kicks.
I just picked up a '61 4 door hardtop yesterday. Biggest car I've ever seen... thing is unreal. Interested in more pics too!!
Anyone know what type of wheels are on that '63 coupe? Imperials had 5 on 5.5 lug pattern which were different than any other Chrysler product.
