That's a great link, dirtybird! My first van was a 69 chevy. Would love to have that van again. Those were loads of fun.
So we'll se you on the blvd this Wednesday?
Picked up a vista cruiser roof, should be welding it in soon!
J Cruz, digging the Vandoleros blog! Cool stuff, I'm feelin' it...
That's badass! Can you put it on the roof without fucking up the rest of the paint?
It's getting a full re-paint. That was just a quickie for round 1. Thanks!
thats the best looking chevy of the "early" years....very cool....dig da flares, remember guys doing that roof, seemed half did vinyl tops to cover the work involved
I love that thing! the flares turned out great too!
Are those Astro chrome steel slots with gold paint? Nice!
I just bought the 1974 Chevy show van the Emerald Express. It is a two owner with 45,000 miles all original the way it was built.
First owner died a few years ago. Family sold it to friend. Friend died a few months ago I bought from his family. Always garaged. Never smoked in. Painted in 1975. The van was ordered Green with white side insert. All of the custom painted panels are on top of the original paint. Undercarriage is all painted up green & white as well. Van is rust free and excellent shape. I am looking for old pictures of this van at East coast van shows or indoor shows from the late 70's. It was at most of the World Of Wheels shows in DC, Baltimore, Roanoke VA. Hershey Pa. This van was always a central PA. van.
My stepfather always had a van. He had a usually had a Dodge or a Ford. His Dodge was a trademaster called "Strange Brew". It was kinda cool but stupid him traded it for a bus. Stupid. Until his death he always had a van.
Very nice score man.
DAMN!!!!! FU MANCHU's an animal.....
Ya know, I am not much of a van guy at all but I keep coming back to this thread and seeing this van and it has really grown on me...I think I love it.
Anybody remember this little gem in the 70's?
It was restored by The Guild Of Automotive Restorers in Toronto a few years back should be some pics on thier website of the resto.
That thing always reminded me of my little sisters Barbie toy camper for some reason.
come on Church cut loose with some new pics of your Ford.
some footage of Fumanchu's Van when he drove it from Arizona to the Beatnik Blowout!
Seen this one this past weekend at a show and thought it was the coolest. I love the back wheels tire combo and zoomies
I have that van, it's 3" long and is parked in a plastic box with other cars.
buy this one!
That or THE PUNISHER!
Thanks!.....Now if I could only get the owner to get it out annd drive it!
