    Hello Roy!
I have an old van mag from 1975 with your old Dodge featured in it. Also featured were CIV member's Ben 'Scorpion' Carney, & Doug Schmelz. Cool to know you are still around. Any other CIV members still in Cali? Anybody still have a van? Brad

Brad;yes there are a few CIV ex-members still around.Butch Hill is the only one that I know of that still has a van,not his 73 Dodge but a 75 GMC.I think we all managed to kill a bunch of brain cells back then!!!!My old Dodge went to a guy in Fillmore, then it disappeared.I went through two Fords,a 76 and then a 75,built the 75 into a bad assed 4X4,wore that sucker out!! ROY.

If your into classic vans and you will be going to Cruisin' Van Nuys on Wednesday you'll be in for a treat. The Wheels of Confusion Van Club has lined up around 15 vans for this one, the majority being pre 70's. They will be meeting in the Rydell Chevrolet parking lot around 7:00 PM. 6001 Van Nuys Blvd. Van Nuys,Ca. 91401
Wish I could be there to see this, hopefully in 2011.

Add them to the album pics you already have....

  5. We ripped the motor out of my buddies 65 Econoline van to do a body drop on it. Here is a picture of his goal should be running again by early summer. If interested let me know and maybe I can do a thread regarding the body drop process.

I love those tag-axle vans.. a friend of mine had one,, made it really stable.. and with a over-under drive,, it would get decent gas millage.. makes me want another full size van instead of a stupid mini-van....

awesome. my old man had the same van when i was a kid. 0his only ride most of my life. i sat bean bag in the back. i love the gen 2's. i need to find a 4wd conversion so i can replace my late model ski-mobile. been looking at vans for about a year now. almost pulled the trigger a couple times, mostly first gen fords. but found a deal i couldnt pass up on new galaxie project car so the van is on the back burner (unless i can find a shorty 4wd convert.. that i can justify buying)

boy this thread brings back memories, grew up riding in old chevy vans with shag carpeting and bubble windows. We have a lot of them around here , but they are ragged out Tijuana specials, if you know what I mean,

I found my old Dodge yesterday with the help of SCtattooer. It is in New Jersey. The current owner does not want to sell and has plans for paint and Radir wheels. Currently runs a hopped up 360. The van did not have wheelie bars and the wheels centers were natural finish when I sold it.
