Amazing shift knob

 

Those rear fenders look like they were cut from a 44 gallon drum on that white T roadster. Was that a common thing back then? Cheers

 

Very first one I have ever seen.

 

I remember seeing fenders like the ones on the white "T" in old ads back in the 60's/70's. I found another "T" with similar fenders. Both cars are from across the pond, so it makes since, fenders were required, and still are for the most part.

I would bet a dollar it's the exact same car.

 

The white car was called Andromeda” and built by Nick Butler in the UK around the late 70’s, still around, looking pretty much the same.

Tragedy awaited at the next race at Pomona. The clutch blew up at the starting line, setting the car on fire and severely burning driver Dave DeLangton. Dave died a month later.

I really like this car,

If a guy picked up a cheap fiberglass body, put it on an "A" frame, or a square tube frame, and ran a low dollar small block Ford or Chevy, I think it could be built for about $10,000.00. I know I could do it, but I can do all my own work. If shop labor had to be paid, it would be more money.
