The 1969 Oakland show winner I restored back in 2006
That's Mervyn Toynton's '32.
I thought I had seen recent pics of it (maybe here?) and it was yellow...
thanks, i didn't even see the ford in the photo
I knew that was the case. I will see if I can find anything on the Chevy.
That orange sedan is perfect...
I like the dumps behind the front wheel
That blue 32 is gorgeous
I used to make yearly visits to my aunt's home in Lakewood CA beginning in 1969. Anyhoo, I came upon a couple of images the other day which I thought fit this theme. They are from one of the earlier trips, but I have long forgotten the exact year..
This really nice "T" was sitting on her neighbour's lawn one summer:
This may have been the same year on the way home up the 101. A cool little "T" and trailer:
I believe that black "T" is Ted Brown's beauty.
The Money Hole.
Mt wife's T Bucket
The green Pontiac in the post above is owned by Bud Pierce who lives near me
He takes it to shows all the time here.... Good stuff
The Chevy stands out with all that oil underneath. I do think the rims are red.
This one was at the Portland Roadster Show last year I think...the T, not the dame
Same car? Different paint? Surely not 2 of them out there
All the same car
Makes me wish I could go back to those wonderful day's again.
Between these shows and local drag strips it was a great time! Then came the late 60s and 70s.
Is that Linda?
Looks like her...
