It looks like they mounted the supercharger in the old generator spot and moved the generator to the side. Pretty clever setup. It would be interesting to know how much boost the McCulloch is putting out and what was done to help the flatty stay together.

Paul Shaugnessy’s “Sylvester III” is the third version of this 1932.

 

Since well before I got my driver's license in 1966, i always loved 60's drag cars. Especially Gas Class and Altered cars. Some diggers too, but not as much as the other classes.
I still love seeing period 60's gassers, and my last 3 builds have all been 60's inspired gasser cars. Guess I'm stuck in a rut now, as my current build started out being a cruiser 60's style hotrod '39 Chev coupe. Partway through a buddy looked at it and said, "Another gasser huh?"

circa 1963.
