The HAMB is friendly to cars under 1965. So let's see them. Finished/unfinished. What are you working on/driving. Upload your HAMB friendly cars and share what your plans are. I'll start late to the party but still at the party I'm sliding by with a 1965 Buick Skylark.

My plan is to put a 430 big block, dual exhaust, sticky tires, mags, floor shifter, a couple stickers on my back passenger window like all my cars in the past. But this will have a HAMB sticker from all the help I've been given. Here's a picture of now and how I would like it done. Haven't picked a color yet.[IMG]
( don't worry I got all the trim and the bumper in the trunk.

I'm currently working on this 1964 Dodge 330 wagon, put new rear quarter panel wheel arches in this fall, am waiting for temps to warm up so it can be painted. 20151109_130658.jpg

I've got my '64 El Camino still but unfortunately it has taken a back seat to several other projects lately.
Hey D&P; if you ever decide to bail out of that '65 Skylark, PM me. It's close to the top of my bucket list!

  12. I had that exact same car right down to the color combination, back when gas was cheap, it was a big comfortable cruiser until a rambler bounced off it.

My 63 Comet. Bought it with no intention of doing anything to it at all a few years ago. Then after looking at the 390 that was wedged in there, and the red wire that was used for everything, I decided I should at least fix that stuff. Then that lead to more and more. Luckily I'm one of those guys that doesn't really care about it being shiny and perfect, so I don't have to worry about that. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Wow this thread good good real fast. The moderators knew what they were doing cutting it at 65'.

@Ticky boo - love what was done with the color/exsuast.

@ROADSTER1927- nice score with a fire truck, best trucks out there, next to Internationals.

@saltflats I've been drooling over the salt shaker for 2 days now. Maybe I'll just keep the bumper off. I also like how you did your exsuast. What engine/trans are you running?

@burl nice convertible, keep at it piece by piece it will get done.

@Duececoupe, bubbletops are the king of the 60's for me. Nice job!!!

@oldrelics nice that has a big block in it right? I would love that olds, same color and everything. How many people fit in there, plus the trunk. 12? Lol. Gotta love a good strong Oldsmobile.

@bchxtybob I promised myself long time ago and @SOUTHCROSS on the HAMB recently not to bail. This one's on my bucket list too lol. I will for sure keep an eye out for you when I see a good one for a good price brother. Love your Elcamino, what's under the hood?

@rjones that Comet looks good. You did it justice. What's the name of that blue? The White scoop really looks great, love the way it flows.
@docutary did you lower your ride? Looks great, thanks for the before/after pic. I personally like your rim choice. That's good your representing at a young age.

@mikeMiller, wow you saved that ranchero from a Jamican paint job lol. the Gold really gave it a stronger look. Those ford back lights have always been a favorite of mine, simple but nice.

@Zeph your car is going to look as good as @saltflats when your done.

    These Comets really impressed me.

@das858 thanks for bringing in a wagon to the mix. White top/White wheels make it classy.

    Thanks everybody. Keep them coming.

I'll read on it soon, one last question I forgot. Why did you paint your rims 2 colors? How's that look at high speeds?

The sides are just basic panels where the base color is left and the offsetting color is added in the middle so the base makes an outline. There are scallops with fades & cobwebbing on the hood roof and trunk
