    who was making fiberglass parts for tri 5 chevys back in the day?
     
  2. Anderson Industries, AKA Ai Fiberglass, located in Elkridge, Maryland during that period produced a full line of one piece front ends, doors, trunk lids, bumpers, etc.

    Bought a set of fenders and splash aprons for a Model A from AI back in the '60s and drove back to Providence, RI with them strapped to the roof of a '60 VW bug. I sold the A in '76 and the glass was still in great shape.

  6. There was also Fiberglass Trends (ORange CA) and A&A Specialties (Placentia, CA)that were both big in Tri Five stuff. Both were pioneers in fiberglass parts along with Challenger Equipment of Azusa, CA
     
  7. I finally found an old catalog cover proof that includes the later "funky" version of the Ai Logo.
