Projects 60/61/66 C10 HOOD

I know a gifted HAMBer that has been diligently turning a roached out 61 Apache hood into something pretty cool for my 62 C10

The red braces came out of a 60 LCF firetruck hood

the white center body line was sliced from a 66 C10 hood that was cut in and welded into the center of the 61 Apache hood just as I imagined it could be (but lacked the metal skills to make it be)

I CAN'T WAIT TO BOLT THIS TO MY TRUCK

 

Very cool.
Now it needs some louvers.

 

Very diligent, that's for sure. I'd love to see a shot from the front...curious to see the jet intake pods juxtaposed to the new insert.
